The 'Maha Behes' is the season finale of Behes that is held around Christmas every year. The Maha Behes 2017 will see over 400 debaters from 9 cities converge at one venue to battle it bout for a shot at the coveted national title – a shot at being Maha Behes champions 2017!



The top teams that have proven their mettle from every regional round this season come together to compete against each other during the most intense two days this season. The Maha Behes is set to witness some of the best school debaters in the country.




The Maha Behes 2017 will feature a Christmas ball at the end of day one (26th December, an opportunity for one and all to throw off their coats and dance the stress away before the elimination rounds begin! Are you ready to Maha Behes?

WILDCARD ENTRIES

If you failed to qualify or attend a regional round near you this season; but think you deserve a spot at the finals, all you need to do is convince us that you deserve to make it! You can do so by writing a short essay outlining what your team would bring to the tournament, and why you deserve a spot among India's best. The top ten entries will win wildcard entries to the finals.

BEHES SPIRIT AWARD

The Behes Spirit Award is meant to recognize debaters who have helped spread the Behes message of free speech and reasoned expression among their peers and helped set up a community of debaters at their schools. Please vote for someone who will be at the Maha Behes 2017 as a participant.
